Brian Lee & the Orbiters @ The New Orleans

The New Orleans Creole Restaurant , 114 First Avenue South, Seattle, WA

This Saturday night, the Orbiters head to Pioneer Square to The New Orleans Creole Restaurant - an icon among Seattle Blues and Jazz venues.    As many of you may have heard, Gaye Anderson, the long-time owner of the New Orleans recently passed away. With her passing Seattle has lost a major force in it's music scene. Gaye brought live jazz and blues to Pioneer Square seven nights a week for many, many years- through economic ups and downs and with a level of dedication that is unsurpassed. She really loved the music! She gave our Orbiters band the opportunity to perform at the New Orleans a dozen years ago when the band was just getting started, and did so consistently over the years as our band has evolved. Gaye's legacy continues as her brother Joe,  nephew Joe, and staff continue the operation of the New Orleans Creole Restaraunt and it's music and dining tradition! Please show them your support for live music at this unique and lively venue that Gaye created!

In addition to it's tradition of great tunes, dinner at the New Orleans Creole Restaurant features super Creole and Cajun food. With it's classic brick walls lined with musician portraits, and its well used dance floor, the New Orleans has a great vibe. There's no other place like it in the Northwest.  For more info, see their site at: www.neworleanscreolerestaurant.com
