Brian Lee will be making a guess appearance with the CD Woodbury band at this South Sound Blues Association "Back to Beale Street" fund raiser event! The event is from 4-10PM, featuring several bands, and raises funds to help the SSBA send the CD Woodbury band to compete in the International Blues Challenge in Memphis. Brian will perform with CD and band at 9PM.

Five top regional acts will be featured. Performing in order of appearance are The Julie Duke Band, Steve Cooley and the Dangerfields with special guest James King, Arthur Migliazza (2014 IBC Finalist), Palmer Junction, and closing the show out, The CD Woodbury Band with special guest Brian Lee.

The CD Woodbury Band won the SSBA’s Regional Finals at the Tacoma Freedom Fair on July 4th, and will be representing the South Sound Blues Association at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, Tennessee, January 20th through January 24th, 2015. The International Blues Challenge in Memphis is the largest gathering of blues artists in the world. Groups from around the globe are chosen to represent their states and countries. Last year over two hundred and fifty acts competed on Beale Street. Nine other countries besides the United States were represented. Each contestant performs in front of an international panel of music industry professionals who judge the event www.blues.org/ibc/

9:00 –10:00 PM CD Woodbury Band with special guest Brian Lee (of Brian Lee and the Orbiters)

Donations are $8 for blues association members and $10 for non-members. (Children 12 years of age and under are admitted free.)
